PREDICATE POP ART snogs with all the relevant contemporary debates of a modern capitalist Western society- it charms recent affairs out of their concept trees and turns them into entertaining, hardcore subjective, analytical, poly-referential micro-narrations about our presence: stress, hyperindividuality, status-angst, illusion of individual opportunities, consumerism, feminism, digitalisation, motherhood, fractions, ambivalence etc.. – all the jargons and codes and signs associated with these present day discourses are overtly or covertly turned into highly complex AND snotty paintings. PREDICATE POP art snowballs into a bold and fierce analysis of contemporary Western societies and heaves figurative painting out of its randomness.
