Kurt Straznicky has been working with the material synthetic resin for about 20 years. What is particularly fascinating is how he creates such real visual worlds that seem imaginary. It is as if the scenic representations, hermetically enclosed in the material, try to penetrate to the outside; as if they are trying to find a connection to the outer world through the transparency of the material.
